Over the past thirty years Billy Beyond has been music maestro to a wide variety of nightclubs, parties, fashion shows, movie premieres and special events. He began his deejay career as co-founder and resident deejay of Beige - New York City’s longest running weekly gay event. In the early 90's he started with a pile of old records that belonged to his father, he went on to open the ears of the city to the growing retro-sound of “lounge.” Later as creator and partner of Beige Hollywood, Billy set a new standard for Los Angeles nightlife by developing what quickly became that city’s most thumpin’ weekly dance party. Billy has presided over the turntables at numerous high profile events around the world since then from Tokyo to New York. A weekly residency in Las Vegas was the talk of the strip in 1998 at Club RA – the nightclub at The Luxor. His list of private clientele has remained a veritable who’s who of celebrity. Stars of the music and film worlds adore his song styling and many insist he take charge at events both private and public. Highlights of his clientele include Tim Burton, Susan Sarandon, Todd Oldham, Courtney Love, Sarah Jessicah Parker, Janet Jackson, John Roberts, LaForce NYC, CFDA, DIFFA, AMFAR as well as many regular appearances at events for Lionsgate and Sony studios. Lately Billy remains busily involved with several production projects and an ever increasing list of DJ appearances around the world.
